प्रकाश – कल से गर्मियों की छुट्टिया हो रही है. तुम्हारा क्या कार्यक्रम है? ( From tomorrow we are having summer vacation. What is your program? )
ज्योति – कोई खास कार्यक्रम नहीं. हा दो चार मित्रो को मिलेंगे तथा कुछ मूवी देखेंगे? ( No special program. Of course, we shall visit a few friends and also see a few movies. )
प्रकाश – क्यों न हम लोग पहाड़ पर जाकर अपनी गर्मियों की छुट्टिया बिताये. ( Why not to spend our summer vacation on some hill station. )
ज्योति – ख्याल तो बहुत अच्छा है. पर कौन से हिल स्टेशन पर चलोगे? ( It is wonderful idea. Where would you like to go? )
प्रकाश – क्यों न शिमला चला जाये. कहा जाता है कि अंग्रेजी ने इसे स्विट्जरलेंड जैसा बनवाया था. ( Why not to go to Shimla. It is said that the English got it built on the scheme of Switzerland. )
ज्योति – अच्छा, वहा हम कहा ठहरेंगे? ( Ok, Where would we stay there? )
प्रकाश – अरे अपनी रेखा भाभी भी तो वही रहती है. ( Our Bhabhi Rekha lives there. )
ज्योति – हाँ और भाभी सुमन भी तो वही रहती है. ( Of course, Bhabhi Suman also lives there. )
प्रकाश – तो फिर कार्यक्रम पक्का समझा जाए. ( Then the programme should be taken as final. )
ज्योति – ठीक है, पर हम लोगो को गर्म कपड़े भी ले जाने चाहिए. ( All right. We shall have to take woollen clothes . )
प्रकाश – हां वहा ठण्ड होगी. ( Yes, there would be cold )
ज्योति – अब जाना कब होगा तथा वहा कितने दिन ठहरने का कार्यक्रम है? ( Now when we are going there and for how many days? )
प्रकाश – हम लोग परसों चलेंगे. प्रात: ठीक सात बजे वाली बस लेंगे. ( We shall leave for Shimla day after tomorrow. We shall take the bus at seven in the morning . )
ज्योति – कितना पैसा ले ले? ( How much money we should take? )
प्रकाश – एक हजार रूपये काफी होंगे. ( One thousand will be enough. )
ज्योति – तब ठीक है. तुम मेरे घर आ आना. दोनों एक ही रिक्शे पर चलेंगे. ( Then it is all right. You come down to my house. We shall go in the same rickshaw. )

प्रकाश – पर क्या तुम्हारे माता पिता जाने की अनुमति दे देंगे? ( But will your parents permit you to go? )
ज्योति – अरे यह तो हम भूल ही गए थे, माताजी तो शायद मान जाए पर पिता जी. ( Oh, that we forget. Mother will perhaps permit but father. )
प्रकाश – ऐसा करते है कि मैं अपने पिता जी से आपके पिताजी को फ़ोन करवाता हूँ. ( Ok, I shall ask my father to phone your father. )
ज्योति – इससे क्या होगा? मेरे पिता जी बहुत कंजूस है. वे पैसा खर्च नहीं करेंगे. ( That wouldn’t make any difference. My father is a miser. He will not spend money. )
प्रकाश – यदि हम ही सारा पैसा खर्च करे तो क्या तुम्हारे पिता जी मान जायेंगे? ( If we spend all the money then your father will permit? )
ज्योति – शायद मान जाए. ( Perhaps, he may agree )
प्रकाश – फिर मेरे पिता जी फ़ोन पर यह भी कहेंगे कि सारा खर्च वे ही देंगे, केवल तुम्हे आने दे. ( Then my father will tell your father that he will spend all the money you come done. )
ज्योति – यदि तुम्हारी माता जी हमारे घर आकर मेरे पिताजी से बात करे तो बात बन सकती है. ( If your mother can come to our house and talk to my father then there is possibility. )
