यदि तुम वहा होते तो उसकी सहायता करते. ( If you had been there, you would have helped him. )
यदि तुम उसकी सहायता न करते तो वह मर जाता. ( Had you not helped him, he would have been killed. )
यदि वह रास्ते में मिले तो मुझे मिलने के लिए कहे. ( Should you meet him on the way, tell him to see )
यदि तुम परिश्रम करोगे तो परीक्षा में सफल हो जाओगे. ( If you work hard, you will get through the examination. )
यदि उसने अपने अध्यापक की आज्ञा भंग की तो उसने मूर्खता दिखाई. ( If he disobeyed his teacher, he acted foolishly. )
यदि वह न आया तो तुम्हे जाना पड़ेगा. ( In case he does not come, you shall have to go. )
मैं तभी पढाई जारी रखूँगा यदि तुम मेरी धन से सहायता करो. ( I shall continue my studies provided that you help me with money. )

यदि तुम बहुत परिश्रम करोगे तो वजीफा प्राप्त करोगे. ( Were you to work hard, you should surely win a scholarship )
यदि मैं तुम्हारे स्थान पर होता तो उसे तुरन्त नौकरी से निकाल देता. ( If I were in your place, I would dismiss him at once. )
